香港創科展由香港創新基金主辦，為學生提供一個展現創意的平台，以比賽形式鼓勵同學運用科學及創意，解決生活上所遇到的挑戰與難題，並以設計概念製作實體雛型，從實踐過程中同時學習如何改良和展示他們的作品。

Organised by the Hong Kong Innovation Foundation (HKIF), the Hong Kong Science Fair provides a platform for students to showcase their creativity through a competition that encourages them to develop innovative solutions to challenges in daily life by applying their knowledge of science, technology and creative ideas. At the same time, entrants will learn how to improve and express their own ideas when developing the hardware prototypes.
